ITINERARY

EMMANUEL TOURS will design a custom-made itinerary upon request, according to the client’s main interest, average age, physical conditions, time of the year, length of stay and available accommodations. Once the client approves the final itinerary, Emmanuel Tours will make the corresponding reservations.

RESERVATIONS WITH EMMANUEL TOURS

Early reservations are essential to guarantee your accommodations on the date that you wish to travel. During the high season from November to April and the months of July and August, EMMANUEL TOURS recommends that reservations be made at least six months in advance in order to confirm the accommodations requested.PAYMENT POLICIES

For Individual reservations we require full payment at least 45 days before arrival of our client

For group reservations we request 50% deposit for all the services included in the itinerary, 60 days before arrival of the group and the other 50% 30 days before arrival of the group

MANDATORY PREPAYMENTS

Due to the high occupancy of hotel rooms during (November to April) (June to August)

These properties demand us eventually mandatory prepayments instead of written warranties

Therefore, our sales executives will inform on each confirmed itinerary about mandatory prepayments, the total amount to be prepaid and the deadline for us to receive the money in our account

In case any mandatory prepayment is delayed, Emmanuel Tours will NOT be held responsible for any automatic cancellation of these services.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND

Cancellations must be received in writing a minimum of 45 days prior to arrival. In such cases, a handling charge of $200.00 will be applied, in addition to any hotel guarantee and services already prepaid.

If you cancel after making the balance of payment, that portion is refundable according to the following conditions:

  • For cancellations received 44 to 30 days prior to arrival, 50% of the total amount.
  • For cancellations received 29 to 15 days prior to arrival, 75% of the total amount.
  • If the passenger cancels 14 to 1 day prior to arrival, no refunds are made.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE

1. Wire transfer charges must be paid by the company sending the money to Emmanuel Tours. When calculating the amount to be paid, please add your local bank transfer fee.

2. Please follow these bank details to provide the complete information to your bank

Wire transfers can be made at any bank in the United States and any other country, Once at your bank, you request a Swift to this bank in Costa Rica

Swift is an International code that corresponds to specific bank worldwide, the information to our bank is as follow:

3. Also provide your bank, your company name (as known by our sales staff), name of the clients traveling or the invoice(s) number(s).

4. To send a transfer from abroad in an efficient manner, it is important that this information be given exact and completely to your bank, otherwise the funds may be sent elsewhere and their arrival to our account in Costa Rica will be delayed

5. Finally, please confirm payment by sending a copy of the deposit slip from your bank to our fax +(506)2239 2138. Please make sure you make all payments in the name of Emmanuel Tours S.A.

Payment Failure

Emmanuel Tours has the right to cancel all services due to lack of payment. All services must be 100% prepaid before date of the first service booked according to our payment policies

RESPONSABILITY

Emmanuel Tours makes known that it is only an intermediary between the passenger and the companies which provide the services in the itineraries, such as hotels, transportation companies, restaurants, and local airlines, among others.

All the providers are selected carefully and fulfill the necessary requirements to provide the services, having established records for being consolidated and efficient businesses.

Emmanuel Tours will not assume additional expenses due to strikes, earthquakes, weather conditions, accidents, the condition of the highways and roads, or forces beyond our control, and reserve the right to change or cancel any tour or service without previous notice, or to use the services of other affiliated companies if necessary

Emmanuel Tours or its agents can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to the delay or changes in air schedules, theft, loss of (or damage to) baggage or any article belonging to the passengers, sickness, personal health, injuries, death

Emmanuel Tours requires that all participants be covered by appropriate life accident and medical insurance and that they be financially responsible for such expenses. Emmanuel Tours requires that participants planning to operate a motor vehicle overseas must obtain liability and collision insurance that will cover them in Costa Rica.

Emmanuel Tours every activity could be a challenge so every costumer has to check the level of difficulty, it’s the passenger responsibility if they can do it or not
